Social Events
You
won't find a more sociable club than the BQYC!
In those dark days of winter when the boats cannot be used we have
regular social events to keep us all in touch as well as entertained.
These range from quizzes and talks by guest speakers to various suppers.
Once summer arrives there might be a Seafood Blow-out in the Company Shed
over in West Mersea and BBQ's are the thing, while we all look forward to the annual
wine-tasting and more suppers in the autumn, and there is always the
annual Dinner and Dance. In between some of us actually go sailing, but
it's not obligatory.
Alternatively make use of the club house bar after a hard days sailing -
you won't be the only one!
